St Pancras Station is 150 years old in 2018. HS1, as owner of St Pancras, celebrates the station’s rich history by connecting and engaging with its visitors over the course of the year to reveal and share stories about the place, the people who worked or used it, and the journey that the station has been through over the course of the 150 years. This talk will explore some of the themes that have been researched to inform the anniversary year, such as the transformations that have taken place to create the station, the women and men who worked on the railways, and the importance of trade to St Pancras.
Our speaker, Josie Murray, is Senior Heritage Advisor, HS1.
